Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vital signs, EKGs, injections)
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited medical assistant program preferred
- Basic CPR/BLS certification (training provided)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a clinical setting
