Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist providers during medical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and collect laboratory specimens
- Schedule appointments, handle insurance verification, and manage front desk operations
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and compliant with OSHA standards
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- No prior medical experience necessary – we provide paid training!
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not required
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
