Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks like vital signs and EKGs
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative duties
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn EMR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
