Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform basic vital checks and patient documentation in EHR systems
- Collect and process laboratory specimens following safety protocols
- Schedule patient appointments and manage administrative workflows
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Recent graduates from accredited Medical Assistant programs encouraged
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Current BLS/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
