Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests under supervision
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
