Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, medical instruments, and supplies
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling, registration, and electronic health records
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary – training provided
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
