Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens per protocols
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and handle basic administrative tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Recent graduates from Medical Assistant programs welcome
- Basic computer skills with willingness to learn EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Pass background check and drug screen
