Responsibilities
- Greet patients and prepare them for examinations by recording vital signs and medical history.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws, and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Manage patient intake, including scheduling appointments and updating medical records.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
- Provide basic patient education on medications and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hiring.
