Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and symptoms accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment before patient visits.
- Greet patients and verify patient information and insurance details.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and point-of-care testing (PCT).
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans and wellness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior Medical Assistant experience necessary (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with electronic health records (EHR).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
