Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Oklahoma.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or hospital setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a patient-focused attitude.
