Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Basic computer proficiency and EHR familiarity preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/BLS certification (provided if not certified)
- Ability to work in fast-paced medical environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
