Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments using electronic health records (EHR).
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Assist physicians and nurses during patient exams and basic procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as blood draws, urinalysis, and EKGs.
- Manage patient files, schedule follow-up appointments, and handle insurance verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong desire to learn and work within the medical field.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID.
