Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Document all patient interactions, observations, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
