Responsibilities
- Measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and process referrals.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
