Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and record patient information accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure safety standards.
- Greet patients and manage check-in processes to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Update and maintain patient charts and medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a compassionate attitude toward patient care.
