Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and procedures.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems with confidentiality.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Coordinate referrals and schedule follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CNA) required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in EHR software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
