Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in/check-out process efficiently.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with medical history taking and vital signs.
- Assist providers during physical exams and minor procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage patient inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
