Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and initial screenings.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare and administer injections and medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming communications.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, sanitized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
- Current BLS/Heartsaver CPR certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
