Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals checks with high accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information.
- Administer injections and perform basic phlebotomy duties as required.
- Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current RMA, CMA, or NCMA certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., AthenaHealth, Epic).
