Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and health history assessments via secure telehealth platforms.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with virtual examinations and patient triage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Communicate test results, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions to patients in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and manage patient scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical or administrative experience preferred.
- Must possess a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
- Proficient in using EHR software (Epic, AthenaHealth, Cerner, etc.).
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new telehealth technologies quickly.
