Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current state CNA license or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting/transfers.
