Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Conduct virtual and in-person patient intakes, verifying insurance information and medical history.
- Vitals & Admin: Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and manage electronic health records (EHR).
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries via phone and email, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
- Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and remind patients of appointments using our scheduling software.
- Support: Assist physicians and nurses with basic clinical procedures and prepare examination rooms for patient visits.
- Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (CMA or RMA certification is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level role).
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for eager learners.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency are essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
