Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary assessments via telehealth platform
- Assist providers with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and clinical updates
- Coordinate patient education materials and follow-up communications
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, billing codes, and insurance verification
- Monitor vital signs and clinical data remotely using digital health tools
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all virtual interactions and data handling
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical or remote healthcare experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Strong communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Ohio state license and BLS/CPR certification
