Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary health assessments via telehealth platforms
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures, including vital sign monitoring and specimen collection
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth preferred)
- Strong telehealth platform experience (Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid CPR certification and current immunization records
