Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and vitals checks with precision and empathy.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist providers during examinations.
- Manage patient records and insurance documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and manage patient inquiries via phone and email.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Valid California driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
