Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital sign assessments and patient measurements with precision.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision when qualified.
- Manage patient intake, including registration, insurance verification, and charting.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
