Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary assessments via secure video calls
- Assist physicians with telehealth documentation in HIPAA-compliant EHR systems
- Coordinate lab orders and prescription refills through digital workflows
- Provide patient education on chronic conditions and medication management
- Monitor vital signs remotely using connected health devices
- Triage urgent patient inquiries and escalate critical cases appropriately
- Maintain accurate digital health records and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient or telehealth setting
