Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake screenings, including vitals and medical history collection.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor medical treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical equipment and supplies.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using our EHR system.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is a plus.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
