Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist providers during procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Electronic health record (EHR) management and documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up care
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- MA certification or equivalent experience (CMA, RMA, NCMA preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical environments
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred)
