Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care assessment, planning, and implementation for assigned patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to all hospital policies, OSHA regulations, and nursing standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
