Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or NextGen)
- PA state license or eligibility
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
