Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and administer medications
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and inventory management
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year hospital-based experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
