Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Sterilize equipment and manage exam rooms
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Missouri medical assistant license
- Experience with urgent care protocols
