Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care laboratory testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current California MA certification (CMA/RMA) required
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Electronic Health Records preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-centered environment
