Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify demographic information accurately.
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vitals.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and administer injections as directed by physicians.
- Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and update patient charts.
- Handle patient inquiries and schedule appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy, high-volume environment.
