Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with procedures, examinations, and minor office surgeries.
- Draw blood and perform basic EKG testing under supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient charts using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Instruct patients on medication and post-procedure care.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and sterilization of instruments.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (NCMA) required.
- CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy medical office.
