Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Obtain patient history and vital signs, ensuring accuracy and privacy.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, performing EKGs and basic lab tests.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians, following strict protocols.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals to specialists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
