Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, take vitals, and ensure accurate medical histories are recorded.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment according to protocol.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
