Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor medical treatments.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and maintain electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Provide clear instructions and education to patients regarding their care plans.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting.
- CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and privacy.
