Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including taking vitals and medical history.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately.
- Maintain and update patient medical records in the EMR system.
- Answer phone calls and manage patient inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience working in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
