Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform EKGs
- Manage inventory and maintain sterile exam environments
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments and vital measurements
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from accredited provider
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance protocols
