Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake assessments and record medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
