Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently to ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and sterilize equipment between patients.
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Administer injections, medications, or vaccines as directed by a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage insurance verification.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) or state licensure preferred.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
