Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight) and medical histories.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection following strict protocols.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
