Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs, health assessments, and screenings for patients.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage patient medical records and maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control protocols.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations under strict medical supervision.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) degree required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
