Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals, and medical histories with precision and empathy.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures as directed.
- Administer medications, injections, and perform basic phlebotomy duties.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
- Handle insurance verification and patient billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting.
- Strong proficiency with electronic medical records systems (Epic, Athenahealth, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
- Valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
