Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and injections.
- Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently and confidentially.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent (RMA/NCMA) required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
