Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Administer medications under nurse supervision per care plans
- Transport residents to appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection control protocols
- Build meaningful relationships through compassionate companionship
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active NC CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work weekday/evening shifts (no weekends)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
