Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vitals, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Maintain electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule patient appointments and manage office workflows
- Inventory and order medical supplies/equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Arizona CNA or MA license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual a strong plus
