Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Prepare and maintain medical records using EHR systems
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Ensure sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Meditech preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
